STAY STRONG

There is no hope for the weak, only the strong have a stake in the  inheritance of life._Favour Emmanuel

The road to success is full of ups and downs, full of roadblocks. There will come a time when the tire of your vehicle will puncture or deflate, you may miss your route or run out of steam.  There is a popular saying that tough times don’t last only tough men do.   It is your tenacity, your resolve, your doggedness in these times that will help you journey to the end.

I have always said it on this blog that life derives pleasure in squashing and bursting your bubble of hope: let me increase the volume a little louder, life will always test your resolve by knocking down your leap of hope, it does this to see if like everyone who have come before you, you will turn back or fire on.

BUT MEN HAVE GONE BEFORE YOU

Bear this at the back of your mind that men have wished and dreamt of doing that very thing you are aiming to do. You are not the first neither will you be the last. When faced with the challenges of life, many have turned back and abandoned their glorious dream.

So, life has seen you coming up with the same dream, she is saying  “ will this person not turn out to be like the others or will he be anything different?”  Many at this point have proven life right that they cannot pull through while a few have proven her wrong.

Since strength is very important on the road to success, how then do you build strength or remain strengthened?

For our discuss today, I will give a few ways on how to gain or maintain strength.

FEED YOUR MIND RIGHT

I am an advocate for the health of your mind because every moral and personal decay first starts from the mind. Feed your mind with healthy foods, like reading a blog post that helps grow your mental capacity, books, sensor the music you listen to, guide the discussions you engage in or allow around you. As the body requires healthy food for its nourishment and healthy growth so also the mind needs healthy information to function as you will always become the kind of information you feed on daily.

NEVER TAKE YOUR EYES OFF THE GOAL

Constantly keep your goal in remembrance; never stay without your goal in mind.  Constantly seeing your goal or dream fuels your hunger and drive to lay hands on it (achieve it).

Create a wallpaper of your goal, have a visual tangible picture of that goal in your head.

If possible have it as your screen saver on phone or any frequently used gadget of yours.

BE GRATEFUL

Yes, be grateful for the strides you’ve made, appreciate the success recorded so far.

When you  remember and become grateful for the little successes recorded, you will be spurred to go for the bigger or ultimate picture.  Live a life of gratitude. Congratulate yourself every now and then, it doesn't hurt to do so.
