Training the Mind for Success

Some are born strong and others are made strong- J.R Rim

Success is achievable, success is attainable, success is the dream and desired end of everyone.

We are no strangers to the word success because it's an everyday word but what we seldom talk about is the preparation.

Everybody wants success but a few prepare themselves for it. Despite your heavy desire for success ,you'll be left disappointed if you do not prepare for it.

The mind is the first point of call in a man's life. The mind is the controller general of the body as every part of the human body is connected to the mind. Once there is mind failure, the resultant effect is body failure, career failure and so on. To first win a man, win his mind, to attract success or become successful, you must first succeed in your mind as your mind is the magnet for the success you seek.

Most times, success meet us unprepared and we are left in suspense not knowing what to do with it. That success will not stay. It will be short lived.

When your mind is prepared for success, it will coordinate others parts of you to be prepared for success as well.

As the controller general of the body, it will make the eyes prepared and not  given to sleep, the hands will be prepared and will always be on the spindle, the body will not give into weakness.

HOW TO PREPARE THE MIND FOR FOR SUCCESS

  1. Feed your mind with positive thoughts.

Thoughts are the bulb that light your mind and your mind, lights your body.

If the colour of the bulb is blue, your body will recieve blue light and vice versa. Screen the thoughts you allow to dwell in and circulate your mind.

You are what you think.

  2. Read books.

Make reading a daily habit. Never let a day go by without reading at least a chapter. Books are filled with other people's experiences on the way to success, you will see their mistakes and learn how not to make such.

I'll recommend a few books for you:

As a man thinketh by James Allen

Act like a success Think like a success by Steve Harvey

The purpose driven life by Rick Warren, Atomic Habits by James Clear

  3. Meditate.

When you see a Monks do unbelievable things it's because everyday, they carry out the exercise of meditating.

Meditation is an exercise everyone who desires success should engage daily to help prepare the mind for it.

Success is a process. It requires training and hard work. And success is within reach!
