MASTERING SELF FOR SUCCESS

Defeating oneself and successfully scaling the ladder of success is a challenging yet fulfilling endeavor. It requires a deep understanding of one's strengths, weaknesses, and a strong commitment towards personal growth.

The apostle Paul in the holy book admonished that we put our bodies under subjection. The author Brian Tracy calls this "Self Mastery"

It takes a high level of strength to defeat self because when it comes to ourselves, we most times get sentimental.

If you desire Self Mastery, note the following:

Set Clear Goals

Begin by defining your long-term vision and then breaking it down into smaller, achievable goals. Clearly delineate the milestones you need to reach in order to climb the success ladder.

 Self-Awareness

Understand your strengths, weaknesses, values, and passions. Identifying your areas for improvement is crucial for self-development. Self-awareness enables you to leverage your strengths and address your weaknesses strategically.

Continue Learning

Commit yourself to never-ending learning and improvement. Seek out new knowledge, skills, and experiences that align with your aspirations. Read books, attend seminars, take courses, and surround yourself with individuals who can inspire and challenge you.

Overcome Self-Limiting Beliefs: Often, we hold ourselves back due to self-doubt and limiting beliefs. Challenge these negative thoughts by reframing them positively. Replace thoughts like "I can't" with "I will find a way." Cultivate a growth mindset that embraces challenges as opportunities for growth.

Embrace Failure

Failure is inevitable on the path to success. Instead of being discouraged by setbacks, view them as valuable lessons. Analyze your failures objectively, make necessary adjustments, and persevere. Remember that every failure brings you closer to success.

Stay disciplined and Consistent

Success demands discipline and consistent effort. Develop good habits, such as goal setting, time management, and prioritization. Stay focused on your objectives, even when faced with distractions or obstacles. Diligently work towards your goals day in and day out.

Seek Mentors and Role Models

A mentor or role model can provide guidance, support, and valuable insights from their own experiences. Find someone who has achieved what you aspire to and learn from their successes and failures. Their wisdom and advice will help you navigate challenges more effectively.

Seek like-minds

Surround yourself with like-minded individuals who share your ambitions. Build a supportive network that can offer guidance, motivation, and opportunities. Collaboration and synergy with others can accelerate your progress and open doors to new possibilities.

Be ready to Adapt

The journey to success is not linear. Be adaptable and willing to adjust your strategies as circumstances change. Develop resilience to bounce back from failures, setbacks, or unexpected obstacles. View challenges as opportunities for growth and maintain a positive attitude.

Remember, defeating oneself and scaling the ladder of success is not an overnight achievement. It requires dedication, perseverance, and continuous self-improvement. Embrace the process, stay focused on your goals, and never stop believing in your ability to overcome challenges and achieve greatness.

Happy winning!

BLEEDING OF THE MIND

The worst form of injury to have is an internal bleeding. When someone has a fall, after checking for a broken bone or ruptured body part, doctors check for internal bleeding because it's as deadly as any deadly injury you can think of. Doctors being wary of the implications of an internal bleeding recommend multiple scans to be sure there is none. Bleeding  of the mind does not just occur, it is triggered by  the traumatic experiences you've  had in life, the harsh events that you've been subjected to, you have had damaged mental vessels, disfigured  thinking patterns, broken emotional lines; vessels that have become ruptured due to the twist and turn of life thereby leaving you with heavy bleeding inside. This bleeding of the mind is most times caused by betrayal, rejection, setups, repeated  failures and all that. As opposed to surface bleeding, bleeding of the mind is not visible. Most times even the victim is not aware of it. Signs that you are exper...
