WITHDRAW AND PRAY

And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed. Luke 5:16

The gospels hold a vivid account of the life and ministry of Jesus and a constant mention was the fact that Jesus after major miracles, teachings and all will always withdraw to pray.

Today's world is filled with activities, every corner is choked up and daily you expend energy spiritually. It is spiritual energy that burns when you overcome temptation, live right and display Christ and so on.

As young Christians who want to effectively and constantly walk with God and work the works o the Father it is pertinent that we practice withdrawal so we can recharge.

Jesus was obvious of the fact that we are a city set on a hill that cannot be hid, He himself gave us the express command in Matt 5 to let our light so shine before men that's why he gave us a pattern by which we model our lives; it is the model of withdrawal.

LEAVE THE NOISE.

One of the definitions  of withdraw is to leave a place.

The noise of life is becoming louder by the day, impeding our ability to hear from God clearly, making our visions of god and life blurry, clouding our sense of reasoning ans corrupting our righteous souls.

It is necessary for us to leave the noise and spend time alone with  God, get more acquainted to His voice, dealings and instructions.

Now to leave the noise will not be sweet, the noise is alluring, the noise makes you feel among, it gives you a sense of

belonging an living according to status quo.

Take the pain of leaving the noise, to dig dip into the womb of the Father and align your life with His.

Take the pain of leaving the noise so you can renew strength. Isa 40:31

The place of withdrawal is the place of renewal, strengthening, pruning and revival.

Only men who seek freshness practice withdrawal because you cook yourself in prayer, become changed, and when you come out you are like a bread freshly removed from the oven.

It is the desire of the Father that you constantly represent Him here on earth and to effectively do that, you need connect with Him in the place of withdrawal and prayer.

Withdraw from the noise around you now, get a quiet place and raise a prayer to the Father of spirits telling Him how you feel, your challenges and see Him help you.
