  Dear twenty something, it is with great joy I come your way again.  How is your walk with God? Is it going smoothly or have you like everyone hit the rocky patch? When you gave your life to Christ, heaven was happy, she rejoiced greatly and there was celebration ,a heavy one: it shows how special you are. Your walk with God is a delicate one and as such you should treat it delicately.  I feel the need to share with you today, certain things and areas of our Christian life we should watch over.   The worst form of injury to have is an internal bleeding. When someone has a fall, after checking for a broken bone or ruptured body part, doctors check for internal bleeding because it's as deadly as any deadly injury you can think of. Doctors being wary of the implications of an internal bleeding recommend multiple scans to be sure there is none. Bleeding  of the mind does not just occur, it is triggered by  the traumatic experiences you've  had in life, the harsh events that you've been subjected to, you have had damaged mental vessels, disfigured  thinking patterns, broken emotional lines; vessels that have become ruptured due to the twist and turn of life thereby leaving you with heavy bleeding inside. This bleeding of the mind is most times caused by betrayal, rejection, setups, repeated  failures and all that. As opposed to surface bleeding, bleeding of the mind is not visible. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:7 The blood of Jesus was shed for a reason, it was not shed to cover your sins, as anything covered remains, just awaiting an uncovering.  The devil is on an escavatory activity, he wants  to dig up your past mistakes and sin to hurt you or truncate your relationship with God that's why  Revelation 12:10 calls him the accuser of the brethren. God, fully aware of this fact, decided to send the blood of Jesus not to cover your sins but blot (wash) them off. Zechariah 3:1 holds the account of Joshua the High priest being accused because as at the time, they survived on the blood of bulls and heifers and the blood of bulls was only potent to the extent of covering sins and staying the execution of judgement for a while.   Have you thought about it, the fact that you fall asleep the moment you decide to read? You start snoring the minute you decide to write or work at night?  But, you can stay up for hours mindlessly scrolling through social media.  The human body is a centre that thrives on pleasure: immediate pleasure. Sometimes (all the time), this pleasure seeking is  detrimental to our growth and elevation. Because time will move and not wait for you to find a balance between your pleasure seeking flesh and the higher calling of purpose, you might end up in a future unplanned.  The pull of gratification is easy but we must put this body under SUBJECTION . I woke up this morning to a notification on my phone, about thirteen applications were seeking update. I have always skipped the updates to be reminded later but the device constantly reminds me to update the system and the applications. We all have devices,  gadgets, machines (whatever works for you) and these are used constantly or periodically. They have their different functions and render the services they  have been programmed to offer. From time to time, these gadgets or machines ask for update or require upgrade for optimal functionality.
